23rd May, 2008 - The finals night will be held on Saturday 7th June and presentation night on Friday 13th June.  Both will be held at the Humber Keel.  Please make the effort to attend as time has been spent organising and buying trophies etc and low attendance this year means there's no incentive to bother next season..

All team knockout entrants must attend finals night at 19:00 or the team will forfeight their place.  Other knockouts begin at 19:30.

12th May, 2008 - We have just received details of to tournaments - the Yorkshire Open, and Amateur Knockout - both with cash prizes.

21st April, 2008 - Following on from the latest Captains Meeting, it was announced that the next season will commence soon after the end of this season, and be in a 'compact form', to run up to and finish in December. This is to facilitate future leagues to run from January to January.

It was also mentioned that team fees will remain at £30 per season, with an additional £1 per registered player charged. This will cover knockout costs, for which each member will be automatically entered (singles, doubles, and trebles). It was also suggested that an additional doubles knockout tournament will take place, comprising of randomly picked partners.

Also.. voted on: Bank Holidays will remain match-free. Other teams (from neighbouring villages) may be joining our league - however, captains voted against further (more distant) inclusions, such as Hull and Hornsea.
